The Book of Ecclesiastes

Ecclesiastes - Chapter 6

Ecclesiastes 6:1 says, "There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it [is] common among men: There are hardships, burdens, a lot to worry about for people as we walk in the flesh, under the sun. However, never forget we have two bodies, a spiritual body and a flesh body, and you have to feed the spiritual body as well as the flesh body to have peace of mind, rest and joy in Father God. Watch those hardships, burdens and all that worry melt slowly away to peace of mind when you spend some time with Jesus and study Father's Word.

Ecclesiastes 6:2 says, "A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this [is] vanity, and it [is] an evil disease." You can have all the tangible things your little heart desires, however "not having the power to eat thereof" means you are not enjoying it because nothing pleases you. This is to say, that if Father God blesses you with much and you do not have the good sense to enjoy these blessings, you are in a sorry state since you are failing to communicate with your spiritual self. Thanking Father God, showing Him appreciation for His blessings upon you come from your spiritual self, and not the shell of your physical body. If you will not have sense enough to find pleasure in Father's gifts, someone else will.

Ecclesiastes 6:3 says, "If a man beget an hundred [children], and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also [that] he have no burial; I say, [that] an untimely birth [is] better than he." If one has a long life, yet has no joy within that life, a child that was stillborn is far better off than the fool with long life and no happiness. This fool might as well be buried, finding no joy within their own spirit, even having been blessed with a home that is full of children, not even seeing this joy that greets them daily. If you are a miserable person, find joy by serving Father God and being an example of that happiness to others.

Ecclesiastes 6:4 says, "For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness." You were born empty, never enjoyed Father's blessings while walking in the flesh body and just let darkness, who is satan, keep your life miserable. If you want to be happy, walk in the "Light, who is Christ Jesus" who brings you joy, and get your spirit out of darkness. See and enjoy the daylight and find joy in the blessings of Father God. When you speak His Holy Name it should make you feel so happy, you smile within yourself. I suppose if you never bother to study Father's Word wherein you know our LORD, it probably is hard for you to smile and be happy at the very thought of Almighty God because you are not familiar with His promises, grace and mercy.

Ecclesiastes 6:5 says, "Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known [any thing]: this hath more rest than the other." A stillborn child has a better life, peace and rest, than one who is living a miserable and troubled life under the umbrella of satan. When you are an ungrateful person, never appreciating the small things of life, having what you need and not thanking Father God, even for the very air you breath and every step you take, you are a fool and just plain stupid to want to remain an empty individual.

Ecclesiastes 6:6 says, "Yea, though he live a thousand years twice [told], yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?" As for the flesh man that walks under the sun, having joy or no joy in long life because of the failure to nourish the spiritual body with Father's Word, it does not matter who you are or how long you live, when the flesh body passes away, it returns to the same place, the dust from which it came. Your spiritual self however, "according" to how you lived in the flesh body, when it passes away, which is before the return of Christ Jesus, all souls returning to Heaven, you will either be in the presence of Almighty God (great joy), or, on the other side of the gulf (Luke 16:26). You can see Father; however there will be no happiness as the gulf separates you from our LORD God Almighty until the Great White Throne Judgment. So there is joy while walking in your flesh body, which comes from understanding Father's Truths, and there is joy when you pass away when you served Father God while walking in your flesh body. What a waste of life both physical and spiritual to walk in darkness, filled with sorrow and worry.

Ecclesiastes 6:7 says, "All the labour of man [is] for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled." The mouth of the flesh man, no matter how much you stuff that face, will never have happiness when all you can enjoy is the taste of food. In other words, there is no joy if you are only feeding the flesh body. Happiness and a full appetite comes from feeding you spiritual self with Father's Word, Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse so that your spiritual body is full, sustained and strong in our LORD. The wisdom of Almighty God's Word is a savored pleasure that will never leave you. When you taste faithfully of the Living Word, all things have much delight within your life.

Ecclesiastes 6:8 says, "For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?" The wise (poor) feed themselves spiritually and become full by the power of Almighty God with peace of mind, rest, joy in His love, knowing far better things are yet to come. The fool however; just muddles right along in their misery since they only nourish their flesh bodies, yet they are never full, which means never happy because they are too busy worrying about where their next meal will come from, both hands full and still grabbing. Common sense should tell you your darkness comes from starving your spiritual self to death. When you find yourself always searching for something to really make you happy, looking for something that really tastes good, that is cause to stop and spend some time with Jesus. Therefore, walk within your spiritual body, nourished with Father's Word, and not your flesh body which will profit you nothing.

Ecclesiastes 6:9 says, "Better [is] the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this [is] also vanity and vexation of spirit." Open your eyes to the joy Father God is offering and stop chasing the wind (vexation), which you cannot catch and hold within your hands. Let your eyes rest upon Father's Word so His Truths are soaked up and saturating your spiritual body with nourishment that strengthens you. You cannot "stand" for Father God when your eyes have not seen His Truths with understanding.

Ecclesiastes 6:10 says, "That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it [is] man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he." The flesh body is clay (man) that came from the dust and returns to the dust, "Father God is our Potter (mightier than he)" that formed each and every one of His children. Isaiah 64:8 says, "But now, O LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are] the clay, and thou our potter; and we all [are] the work of thy hand."

Ecclesiastes 6:11 says, "Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what [is] man the better?" "Things" means "words." There is no benefit in listening to one who is Biblically illiterate and always spewing their doctrines and traditions which are void of the Truth of Father's Word. Open your eyes to study with understanding Father's Truths and rid yourself of religious extremist who walk in the darkness of satan because they have no knowledge of our Living Word who is Christ Jesus.

Ecclesiastes 6:12 says, "For who knoweth what [is] good for man in [this] life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?" If you are in the light of Christ Jesus you will cast a shadow; however you will not be in the shadow, that darkness which is satan. Father God lifts you up spiritually when you walk in "His Ways", doing the very best you can to follow the Christ-like path which brings you joy. You will surely not be perfect since that is impossible while walking in the flesh. However, it is far better to be under the Light of Christ Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit than to walk in darkness following satan who is death of the spirit. Father God is filling and joy to your spirit in the morning, all through the day, and in the evening when you rest (Christ Jesus).
