I Corinthians 7:1 says, "Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman." "Touch, {hapto, verb}" means "to fasten fire to a thing, kindle, set of fire." In response to a question written to Paul in a letter, his reply was, that a man or woman should "not touch a woman or man in such a way as to over-excite them."
I Corinthians 7:2 says, "Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband." If there is a burning desire of a man or woman for a mate and it cannot be controlled, rather than to "engage in illicit sexual intercourse", let there be a union of marriage.
I Corinthians 7:3 says, "Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband." With marriage you become equal partners who love and respect one another, and the duty between the two regarding physical desire is always agreed upon.
I Corinthians 7:4 says, "The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife." With marriage, the two become as one flesh "[Genesis - Chapter 2]" since sexual relations are for the purpose of procreation, therefore what pleases one, would also please the other.
I Corinthians 7:5 says, "Defraud ye not one the other, except [it be] with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency." "Defraud", better translated, means "deprive." "Incontinency" means "want of self control." If it is necessary for the man or the woman to be away from their mate for a period of time, discuss this matter and be sure that both will have no relationships outside of the marriage, waiting until they are once again united. If this agreement cannot be reached, then there should be no separation. If one cannot handle the separation, meaning they are weak in the flesh, satan will certainly slip in and tempt the weak one wherein they seek to kindle their fire outside of the marriage. Spiritually speaking, Christ Jesus is away from humankind until His return at the Second Advent. If your life is not designed to study Father's Word, Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, building your gospel armor to keep you faithful until our Lord returns, when satan is cast to this earth as the first/false christ, your Biblically illiteracy will cause you to bow down and worship him, which means you are unfaithful to Christ Jesus.
I Corinthians 7:6 says, "But I speak this by permission, [and] not of commandment." This is not specifically stated in Father's Word, however it is common sense based on the teachings of Christ Jesus who has given all with eyes to see and ears to hear, power over satan, which keeps you from fornicating with death [satan] because you failed to know the time of our Lord's coming.
I Corinthians 7:7 says, "For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that." Paul wishes that all of humankind could be so strong over the flesh that they never married as he, however, we are all different with our thoughts and feelings. For Paul who travelled all over teaching Father's Word, he would not be home very often, and had he married, his wife would have been alone most of the time, therefore, it would not make much sense to become as one. Therefore, if you spend your life sitting in a church that teaches the doctrines and traditions of men, never understanding the mysteries of Father's Word, your time spend in church means nothing since Biblical illiteracy will cause you to serve the first/false christ, satan, when he is cast to this earth to perpetrate the greatest deception of all.
I Corinthians 7:8 says, "I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I." It is better to focus on the passions of your spiritual self serving Father God than to give into your flesh self which will draw you into earthly desires, playing church, having no knowledge of the seven events that consummate the end of this Flesh or Second Earth Age and being a part of satan's deception.
I Corinthians 7:9 says, "But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." If you cannot demonstrate "self control {contain}", it makes sense to marry so you are not "sexually full of fire {burn} or passion", finding yourself being tempted [satan]. Your flesh body can become a stumbling block that will keep you from the love, discipline and obedience to Father God required to study His Truths, wherein you are a servant to His Word, planting seeds of truth wherever they may be heard.
To sum this up spiritually, except for the very elect who were chosen before the foundation of this Second Earth Age [Ephesians - Chapter 1], all other souls are "born from above" to chose to follow Father God or to follow satan. If you are not studying Father's Word, understanding His Truths, knowing that satan will be cast to this earth at the "Sixth Trump [Seal, Vial] / [Revelation - Chapter 9]" as the first/false christ, and you bow down and worship him, believing the tempter [satan] to be our True Christ, your lusts naturally causes you to be "unfaithful" to Father God. You will find yourself laying in the bed {spiritually speaking} with Father's enemy whom He has condemned to become ashes from within [Ezekiel - Chapter 28]. It would be pleasing for Father God if all of His children studied His Word and understood the events that lead up to the end of this Flesh or Second Earth Age, knowing that to be "faithful", it is necessary to understand that our "True Bridegroom who is Christ Jesus", returns at the "Seventh Trump {Seal, Vial} / [Revelation - Chapter 11]." If you have this understanding, when satan is cast to this earth to perpetrate the greatest deception ever to be known to mankind, that vile creature will in no way be tempting to you. You will look upon satan as the abominator that he is as you continue to work in the field, which is the world, "standing" for Father God, faithfully, spreading His Truths according to "His Good Will", as a virgin awaiting our "Bridegroom, who is Christ Jesus." Therefore, let that passion, the burning within your spiritual self be for loving Father God, not playing church with doctrines and traditions of men, who incarnated Himself in the Flesh through Christ Jesus, stretching out His arms on that cross at Calvary for you, me and all of humankind, opening the door to salvation, studying to show yourself approved, that you may have Eternal Life.
I Corinthians 7:10 says, "And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband:" I Corinthians 7:11 says, "But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to [her] husband: and let not the husband put away [his] wife." Here is now the commandment of Father God relating to a man and a woman who marry and become as one flesh. If you determine that the marriage cannot continue, repent and separate by means of divorce "[Numbers - Chapter 22]", or reconcile with respect one for another. Spiritually speaking, when you turn your back on Father God for the doctrines and traditions of men, playing church, He will divorce you, separate Himself from you just as He did when Father "put away His wife/Israel" in "Ezekiel - Chapter 16." If you fall away from obedience to Father God, repent in the Name of Christ Jesus and begin studying His Word so you are reconciled with our LORD who created all of humankind for His pleasure.
I Corinthians 7:12 says, "But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away." I Corinthians 7:13 says, "And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him." Paul is letting you know that this is his teaching, not Father's teaching since our LORD teaches in "II Corinthians 6:14 - 18" that it is necessary to be "evenly yoked." Knowing the weaknesses of the flesh however, Paul is saying that if f there is a husband and wife, one a christian and the other not, however the children of the union are raised as christians, as long as the non-christian does not interfere with the christian teachings and the gifts of Father God, all is well.
I Corinthians 7:14 says, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." The non-christian may return to Father God hearing and seeing the good works of their christian mate as they teach the children of the love of Father God and Christ Jesus so they too walk a Christ-like path. What is essential is that the non-christian does not become a stumbling block, interfering with the children being raised and taught according to the Truths of Father's Word.
I Corinthians 7:15 says, "But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace." Now if the non-christian cannot be a part of or cannot bear to hear the teachings of Christ Jesus and wants to leave the marriage, let them go. Continue on in your christian walk, raising your children according to the teaching of Christ Jesus who is our Living Word and brings you spiritual peace when you love, are disciplined and obedient to Father God. This applies to your church as well. If there is anyone within the congregation who is not pleased with true teachings of Father's Word, Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, and they want to leave, do not ask or beg them to stay, let them go and find a building where they can play church as the heathens do.
I Corinthians 7:16 says, "For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife?" No one is charged for the salvation of another's soul being at risk, except for those calling themselves teachers, ministers of our Father's Word, and are teaching false doctrines which cause their congregations to remain Biblically illiterate.
I Corinthians 7:17 says, "But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches." As christians make up the many-membered body of Christ Jesus, our Father God has given to each of us gifts expected to be used for the furtherance of His Word to all with eyes to see and ears to hear.
I Corinthians 7:18 says, "Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. Spiritually speaking, "circumcision" is of the "heart" for all of Father's children who allows His Holy Spirit to commune with your spirit which brings peace into your life and those around you since you have love for our LORD, showing discipline and obedience to Father God through Christ Jesus. "Uncircumcision" is also of the "heart", however you are not communing with Father God through Christ Jesus since you have not cut away evil and wickedness within your heart and mind; your life. If your church is teaching their doctrines and traditions such as the fly away, any moment, rapture doctrines, which are not of Father God, and you are believing these lies, then you have a heart of uncircumcision.
I Corinthians 7:19 says, "Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God." It is necessary for all of humankind to serve Father God, understanding His Commandments and the teachings of His Word since this is the what brings spiritual peace into your heart and mind. The only way to know Father God is to understand His Truths.
I Corinthians 7:20 says, "Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called." Commune with Father so you know and understand the gift that He has given to you and do not look to another person's gift and attempt to duplicate what they are doing as a servant of Father God. If Father God has given you the gift of teaching and you refuse to do so, our LORD will bring you around by any means necessary to fulfill that which He has chosen for you to accomplish in the fulfillment of His Plan.
I Corinthians 7:21 says, "Art thou called [being] a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use [it] rather." Rather you are a slave or a servant, you still have the ability to serve Father, however it is far better to be free, not held in bondage to a denomination for example, so that you can serve our LORD without restraints.
I Corinthians 7:22 says, "For he that is called in the Lord, [being] a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, [being] free, is Christ's servant." Although you are a free person in the world, you are a servant to Father God which gives you the freedom to walk a Christ-like path, sharing seeds of truth to whomever will open their eyes and ears to receive "what saith our LORD."
I Corinthians 7:23 says, "Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men." You are bought and paid for by the "Blood of Christ Jesus on that cross at Calvary" and your soul belongs to Father God who created it for His good pleasure. You are not a servant to a denomination or a Biblically illiterate church or pulpit guru.
I Corinthians 7:24 says, "Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God." Be happy, thankful, feeling blessed as you shine in the gift that Father God has blessed you with. You have to work as a joyful servant to strengthen the gift of Father God no matter what your station in life is.
I Corinthians 7:25 says, "Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful." Paul is a faithful servant of Father God and he is about to teach according to that which is spiritually inclined within him and he is speaking to all people, male and female.
I Corinthians 7:26 says, "I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, [I say], that [it is] good for a man so to be." It is good for humankind to be faithful servants to Father God as Paul is.
I Corinthians 7:27 says, "Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife." I Corinthians 7:28 says, "But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you." It is necessary when you have a family and are in the service of Father God to seek the blessings of our LORD since earthly matters can stand in the way of spiritual matters. Father God, when you are faithful, disciplined and obedient to His Word, can remove stumbling blocks from your path so the way is clear for you to continue as a servant in the fulfillment of Father's Plan.
I Corinthians 7:29 says, "But this I say, brethren, the time [is] short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;" I Corinthians 7:30 says, "And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;" I Corinthians 7:31 says, "And they that use this world, as not abusing [it]: for the fashion of this world passeth away." Flesh and blood, nor earthly possessions or your station in life can inherit the Kingdom of Father God. Therefore, if you fashion your life on this Second or Flesh Earth Age that is surely going away, placing our Father God on the back-burner to focus on life's possessions, you are living in fairy tale land. Life is short on this earth since we are just passing through for a cause, to chose to love and follow Father God or satan, and you place your spiritual future in the hands of the flesh, you are treading dangerous ground since all flesh and possessions shall pass away when Christ Jesus returns as "King of kings and Lord of lords." There is not one earthly thing that will follow you into the Heavenly Age, except for your righteous acts.
I Corinthians 7:32 says, "But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:" Do not carry around anxiety wherein you mind, actions and deeds are all centered around pleasing and taking care of yourself and your family, living a certain lifestyle, pleasing people, and because of these behaviors you forget about our Father God and have no time to serve Him with a pure and loving heart. If you are under the will of our Father, He will never leave nor forsake you and all you require will be provided. Stop worrying; work and be a responsible individual who does not doubt our LORD, and keep Father God first in your life. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me."
I Corinthians 7:33 says, "But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife." I Corinthians 7:34 says, "There is difference [also] between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please [her] husband." Spiritually speaking, if you are married to satan, which means in your Biblical ignorance you bowed down and worshipped him, believing he is our True Christ here to rapture you away, you will do his work as a woman married to a man to see to his happiness, your hands serving wickedness. Naturally, satan, perpetrating deception, will reward you for your ignorance. The very elect {the brides of Christ, male and female} know that the first to be cast to this earth is satan to perpetrate the greatest deception ever to be known to mankind, and they as virgins, having no man [satan] on the earth to please, continue working in the field, which is the world, planting seeds of truth for Father God, as they "stand" against satan, waiting on "Christ Jesus, our Bridegroom." To those who are not of the very elect, you are betrothed {engaged, male and female} to Christ Jesus and likewise should "stand", disciplined, waiting for our True Christ Jesus.
I Corinthians 7:35 says, "And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction." While it is necessary to live, work, care for our loved ones and all matters that deal with our flesh being, let nothing draw you away from Father God being first in your life [Matthew - Chapter 6 {33}] since all things of the flesh shall pass away, and it is your spiritual self that lives on with Father in the Eternal Kingdom.
I Corinthians 7:36 says, "But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of [her] age, and need so require, let him
do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry." I Corinthians 7:37 says,
"Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well." Spiritually speaking, you are doing well not to let anything or anyone, your church, the pulpit guru, the congregation, loved ones, whomever, to stand in the way of your waiting on our True Christ returning as "King of kings and Lord of lords" to this earth to claim His bride, the very elect, and those betrothed {engaged} to Him. It is necessary, being under the veil of Father God, to maintain constraints over earthly things that will lead you into the deception of satan, having a conscious for Father God since there are no good things you can achieve without His blessings which come from being a servant to His Word, under His will, understanding truth and sharing that truth wherever it may be received.
I Corinthians 7:38 says, "So then he that giveth [her] in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth [her] not in marriage doeth better." Spiritually speaking, when you are under the veil of Father God {unmarried}, teachers of His Word, it is necessary to not be influenced by earthly things, false religion, denominations, playing church [married], which cause you to stray from Father's Truths.
I Corinthians 7:39 says, "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord." When you are serving Father God, it is only common sense to surround yourself with christians of like mind as you live in the flesh, since those unevenly yoked can become a stumbling block to your being a servant, under the will of our LORD, wherein you are not fruitful in studying, building your gospel armor, and sharing truth with others opening their eyes that they may see, and ears that they may hear. There is life and liberty in our Lord Jesus Christ, our "Bridegroom" when you are invited to the feast as "Revelation 19:9" says, "And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
I Corinthians 7:40 says, " But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God." Paul, as the very elect of this generation we now live in, share seeds of truth given to them through the Holy Spirit, which brings joy and peace into your life. Christ Jesus made the way clear that all can come before the Throne of Father God Almighty, repenting of sins from a pure heart and becoming a new lump that our LORD can mold with understanding when you seek, ask and knock. Christ Jesus is our Living Word and if you have no knowledge of His Truths, you will have no peace or joy within your life. There is one marriage all of humankind should be interested in and that is the marriage to our "Lamb, who is Yeshua, Christ Jesus." Never let the flesh things of life draw you away from those things that are spiritual since ultimately, the desire of all hearts and minds of humankind should be to live throughout the Eternity with "YAHOVAH, Father God Almighty."
