I CORINTHIANS - CHAPTER 6

I Corinthians 6:1 says, "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?" "Saints" are the "very elect, the just." When members of the congregation, inclusive of the teacher, have a complaint one against another or against a group, that dispute should be settled within your christian community. You avoid taking complaints to the courts of law since most often their laws or solutions are not based on Father's Word and you have judgments handed down by non-christians as well. Think about it. You have an issue with another christian, take it to the judicial system who resolve by their precedence, and what you accomplish is spending of necessary money with lawyers, petitions filed, etc. Call on Father and through Christ Jesus, settle your differences according to the Word of our LORD, accomplished with respect through His Holy Spirit, by an arbitrator versed in "Holy Truth."

I Corinthians 6:2 says, "Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" This is a teaching from "Ezekiel 44:23 & 24" and it is speaking of the very elect during the time of the Millennial Kingdom teaching, saying, "And they shall teach my people [the difference] between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean." "And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; [and] they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths." If the very elect cannot settle the petty differences within the christian community while we live in this flesh, how would it be possible to do so during the Millennium.

I Corinthians 6:3 says, "Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" During the Millennial Kingdom teaching, the very elect will be judging angels since all will be within their spiritual bodies at this time. As we live within this flesh, the answer to differences or disputes between christians lies within Father's Word and the very elect are responsible to step up, led by the Holy Spirit, and assist to resolve matters through spiritual knowledge as taught by Christ Jesus, our Living Word.

I Corinthians 6:4 says, "If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church." Never go outside of your church for resolution to your disputes since you can rest assured, those with the least knowledge of Father's Word will still provide a better solution than those of the world who write, follow and institute their own forms of justice, which are void of Father's Truths.

I Corinthians 6:5 says, "I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?" It is not possible that within your church there is not one who has enough knowledge of Father's Word to sit as an arbitrator to resolve issues among the congregations. Of course there are members who have more knowledge of Father's Word, His Laws, than the doctrines and traditions of men. Pray to our LORD and He will provide that one who is worthy of the task.

I Corinthians 6:6 says, "But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers." The heathens, who are not believers of Father's Word, not even knowing His Truths, laugh at those calling themselves christians that come before their judicial systems to settle their differences and judge you.

I Corinthians 6:7 says, "Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather [suffer yourselves to] be defrauded?" There is no victory for christians who settle their differences within the worldly judicial systems who are unbelievers. Their goal is to fatten their pockets through your ignorance. It is better to forget your differences in christian fellowship, suffering whatever loss there may be than to be "robbed {defrauded}" by those who have no knowledge of Father's Word, His Laws, settling and making judgments against you. Let Father's Holy Spirit, through Christ Jesus bless you to love, forgive and continue in christian fellowship, treating each other with respect and learning from your mistakes, according to the Word of Father God wherein there is peace within your church, and you receive Father's blessings.

I Corinthians 6:8 says, "Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that [your] brethren." When you settle matters within your church according to the heathens, you are not demonstrating love and justice according to our Father's Laws. Deviate from what "thus saith our LORD", and you can rest assured, there will be no justice.

I Corinthians 6:9 says, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind," I Corinthians 6:10 says, "Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." To have an understanding of "effeminate", "Romans 1:27" says, "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." This is inclusive of women as well. You cannot have a mindset of entering into Father's Kingdom when you are participating in these evil behaviors Paul is referencing, having no conscious of the wrongs they perpetrate against yourself and others. What you can do is accept Christ Jesus as Savior, believing in Him as you go before Father's Throne and repent, change your ways, and continue in fruitful study of His Word so your life is given to our LORD who will lead, guide and direct your path by the blessings of His Holy Spirit.

I Corinthians 6:11 says, "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." "Sanctified" means "to separate from profane things and dedicate to God." "The Spirit of our God" is the "Holy Spirit." There is no person living in the flesh who has not and does not sin. Flesh is sinful by nature and this is why our Father God sacrificed His Beloved Son, that all can repent, daily, of our unrighteousness, and strive to better our lives with conviction and awareness through studying Father's Word. Repentance cleanses your inner self by the blessing of the Holy Spirit, bringing you out of darkness, which is of satan, into the "Light, who is our Lord Jesus Christ."

I Corinthians 6:12 says, "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." All things that have been blessed and taught by our Father God, inclusive of our daily living, what you eat, how you treat yourself, loved ones and people in general, are lawful because they are according to the Word of Almighty God. It is necessary to remember not to offend anyone who may not have spiritual wisdom, separating yourself from them, rather than to offend. However, anything you partake of according to that which Father has deemed right and just, it is lawful for you because our Father said so.

I Corinthians 6:13 says, "Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body." "Fornication" means "illicit sexual intercourse; the worship of idols." All of humankind have two bodies, the physical body and the spiritual body. The physical body is "meat" and therefore, it is not eternal since flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Father God. Your spiritual body shall enter into the Kingdom of our Father God since it is eternal. Therefore, take care of your flesh body since it is a gift from Father God, however do not become obsessed with it since from the dust it can and to the dust it shall return. It is a temporary domain and you want your true consciousness to be of the spiritual things since it is your spiritual self that shall be with Father for all of Eternity.

I Corinthians 6:14 says, "And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power." Through the "Power of Father God" just as He raised up "His Beloved Son" after the crucifixion into "His Spiritual Body", all of humankind are likewise raised up when they shed their flesh body, to reside with Father in the Eternal or Heavenly Age. Absent from this body is present with our LORD and you can only be in the presence of Father or Christ Jesus in your spiritual body.

I Corinthians 6:15 says, "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make [them] the members of an harlot? God forbid." "Members of Christ" means the "many-membered body of Christ Jesus and He is our King of kings and Lord of lords." It is through His Holy Spirit that humankind are a part of the "dominion" of our "King, Christ Jesus." You are a part of Christ Jesus who is our Temple, our Church, when you study Father's Word, seek, ask and knock for that increase of understanding only our LORD can give, and have a conscious toward your spiritual self to maintain control over your physical self, understanding the blessing and necessity of repentance.

I Corinthians 6:16 says, "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh." This is speaking of marriage to demonstrate what is natural from the natural things of Father God. A man and a woman become one flesh when they lay together and a child is conceived.

I Corinthians 6:17 says, "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." Do not be so concerned with your physical body since it is a temporary domain, rather be most concerned with your spiritual body since it is the one that resurrects to our Father God for the Eternity. Just as a man and woman become when flesh, humankind and Christ Jesus become one spiritually when joined together either by the flesh passing away, or when our Lord returns at the Second Advent, and all are changed from their flesh to their spiritual bodies. The difference is although all with be in spiritual bodies at that time, all with not have immortal souls. Any who bow a knee to satan believing he is our True Christ and do not realize he is the fake/false christ until seeing our Lord return as "King of kings and Lord of lords", will have a mortal soul through the Millennial Kingdom teaching. The very elect and the elect {those who realized satan was a fake before seeing Christ Jesus return}, will have immortal souls through the Millennium. Those with immortal souls will be a part of the "Wedding Feast of Christ Jesus [Revelation 19:7 - 9]."

I Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body." Avoid immorality, wickedness, within your life.

I Corinthians 6:19 says, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spiritt [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" All things of Heaven and earth belong to Father God Almighty. All of humankind belongs to Father God [Ezekiel 18:4] and He created all for His good pleasure [Revelation 4:11].

I Corinthians 6:20 says, "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." Our flesh sins over and over. Father God loves His children so much, that "He Himself, took of the Flesh, being Born from Above through Christ Jesus, who was Sacrificed on that Cross at Calvary, taking our stripes" that humankind may receive the healing through repentance. Christ Jesus, Father God Almighty Himself in the Flesh, defeated death, who is satan, when He was crucified on that cross [Hebrews 2:14]. There is only one way to thank and bless our Father for this love and that is by accepting Christ Jesus, repenting before Father's Throne declaring pure love, obedience and discipline, giving yourself over to our LORD, and studying His Word, understanding His Truths so you do not bow a knee to His enemy satan, and call him our True Christ. Father God sacrificed Himself on the Cross for His children that we may have eternal life. This is the "Greatest Love of All."
